As we are working to achieving Level 1 of the RRS award, we are focussing on these articles:
You have the right to give your opinion, and for adults to listen and take it seriously.
We respect this right by giving our pupils a voice within school and opportunities
to influence decisions in school such as with our School Council, Rights Respecting,
Focus group, Rights Respecting Steering group, Bike It Team, e-
You have the right to choose your own religion and beliefs. Your parents should help you decide what is right and wrong, and what is best for you.
We respect this right by not only teaching about our faith but other world faiths, encouraging children to celebrate differences and diversity.
You have the right to a good quality education. You should be encouraged to go to school to the highest level you can.
We respect this right by all our staff being committed to providing the highest standard of education we can. We respect that parents/carers are the foremost educators of their children and will work with them to enable all our children to meet their full potential.
You have the right to play and rest.
We respect this right by providing high quality play and sport activities. We make links with the community to ensure the widest possible range of opportunities.
